The Genomics Innovation Hub (GIH) provides a unique platform to acquire, test, develop and apply cutting-edge genomic technologies to address high priority research needs.
GIH is a place where researchers and technologists, computational biologists and technology companies come together to test and develop cutting-edge genomic technologies and methods that are crucial to maintaining Australia’s place at the forefront of medical research and patient care.
We are positioned to provide the genomics research community with early access to such technologies by pooling resources, promoting collaborations, building communities, and facilitating joint grant applications to acquire the latest technologies.
The GIH is a partnership between Australian Genome Research Facility, The University of Melbourne, The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, Peter Mac Callum Cancer Centre, Murdoch Children's Research Institute, and Bioplatforms Australia.
